Thermally enhanced PDFN5060 package with 1.24°C/W junction-to-case thermal resistance supports demanding industrial and power-management designs
Micro Commercial Components (MCC) announces the MCAC028N15Y, a 150V N-Channel Power MOSFET designed to address efficiency and thermal management challenges. The device combines Split Gate Trench technology with a thermally enhanced PDFN5060 package, delivering low on-resistance and effective heat dissipation in a compact 5.0mm × 6.0mm footprint.
The MCAC028N15Y features a maximum RDS(on) of 28mΩ, supporting continuous drain current (ID) up to 40A. Advanced Split Gate Trench MOSFET technology reduces switching losses while improving switching performance, and the low junction-to-case thermal resistance of 1.24°C/W enables efficient heat dissipation during high-power operation. These characteristics make the device well-suited for DC/DC converters, BLDC motor drives, industrial automation, battery management systems, and portable power stations.
