Strengthening Global Operations with New Vietnam Facility
As part of our long-term China+1 strategy, MCC has expanded its global manufacturing footprint with a new, high-efficiency backend facility in Vietnam. This investment reflects our commitment to building a more resilient and diversified supply chain—one that is responsive to evolving demand and robust against geopolitical and logistical uncertainty.
The Vietnam facility was designed with flexibility and scalability in mind, enabling us to support a broader range of package types and increase production capacity to meet the needs of a growing global customer base.
This strategic expansion delivers several key advantages:
- Enhanced continuity of supply through geographic diversification
- Reduced exposure to regional trade risks and disruptions
- Improved agility in addressing customer demand across all regions
Initial production is already underway, with selected packages now running successfully through this new backend. Additional product families are scheduled to follow throughout the quarter as we ramp operations in alignment with customer needs.
The Vietnam site is a cornerstone in our effort to future-proof MCC’s supply chain—supporting faster response times, increased capacity, and improved regional flexibility. Customers interested in exploring how these expanded capabilities can support their specific program requirements are encouraged to contact their MCC representative.
General Manufacturing Lead Time Update
MCC’s position as an Integrated Device Manufacturer (IDM) continues to provide key advantages in production visibility and lead time control. Current trends reflect continued stability across most package types.

Driving Cost Control and Supply Stability
As global demand for semiconductors accelerates across automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors, managing raw material costs has become more critical than ever. Key input materials—such as copper, lead frames, and epoxy—continue to face price volatility and constrained availability, placing pressure on manufacturers across the value chain.
At MCC, we view cost control not as a one-time negotiation, but as an ongoing discipline rooted in long-term supplier relationships, proactive sourcing strategies, and operational transparency. Our Supply Chain team works continuously to:
- Collaborate closely with key suppliers to secure favorable pricing agreements and ensure material continuity
- Implement strategic sourcing programs that diversify procurement channels and reduce dependence on single-source suppliers
- Pursue internal process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize material utilization throughout production
These initiatives have helped us mitigate the impact of market fluctuations while protecting our customers from sudden cost spikes and supply interruptions. By staying ahead of material trends and strengthening supplier alignment, MCC continues to deliver stable, high-quality product availability at competitive pricing.
Our commitment to responsible procurement and cost discipline reinforces our value as a dependable long-term manufacturing partner—one that customers can count on in both stable and uncertain conditions.
Staying Agile in a Competitive Market
With the semiconductor industry continuing to navigate shifts in global demand, supply constraints, and regional capacity fluctuations, agility has become a defining factor in maintaining service excellence and meeting customer expectations.
At MCC, we are committed to staying ahead of these trends through a combination of real-time market monitoring, internal operational flexibility, and proactive customer engagement. Our approach centers on three core pillars:
- Proactive lead time monitoring: We continuously benchmark our lead times against market trends to ensure we remain competitive, responsive, and aligned with customer delivery windows
- Collaborative demand planning: Accurate, timely forecasts from our customers are essential to maintaining continuity. We work closely with customers to align production planning with real-world demand and to adjust quickly as conditions evolve
- Strategic inventory positioning: By leveraging a network of regional hubs, buffer stock strategies, and multi-sourcing across backends, we increase supply assurance and shorten response cycles
These efforts are designed not just to maintain operational stability, but to give our customers confidence in an environment where timelines and availability can shift rapidly. Early engagement is key. Customers who share updated forecasts and visibility into long-term requirements empower us to plan smarter and deliver faster.
As part of our broader supply chain strategy, MCC will continue to invest in tools, processes, and relationships that enable us to stay competitive on lead times while delivering the service reliability our partners depend on.
Continuing the Momentum into Q4
As we move through the second half of the year, MCC is proud to celebrate a legacy built on reliability and look ahead to continued growth. From our expanded manufacturing footprint to our unwavering focus on customer service, we remain committed to supporting your business in a dynamic market.
