So we’re excited to share that one of the teams we sponsor in the *FIRST*® Robotics Competition, the [RoboBlazers](https://solutions.mccsemi.com/news/roboblazers-mcc-a-perfect-collaboration-for-innovation-in-robotics), have already set the stage for a successful 2024 season. This year is a time of transition for the team, as half of the members are new to the group. Now, the expanding team is up to 22 members, led by seven passionate mentors.    The 2024  [FIRST® Robotics Competition](https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc/what-is-first-robotics-competition) season is aptly named “Crescendo.” In this game, the robot must pick up flexible disks called “Notes” and strategically shoot or place them into various field elements. Robots can earn additional points by amplifying their speaker, getting on stage, harmonizing, and stealing the spotlight before time runs out. This action-packed challenge is sure to make for an exciting event for participants and viewers! Our RoboBlazers only have eight weeks to build and program their robot, followed by nine intense weeks of tournaments.
