We’re Proud to Sponsor the RoboBlazers at the FIRST Championship  

At MCC, we’re constantly seeking ways to innovate and evolve. And there’s no better investment than in the next generation of creators and inventors. That’s why we proudly sponsored the RoboBlazers, who made their way to the FIRST® Championship in Houston, April 19-22, 2023.

Founded by inventor Dean Kamen in 1989, FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global robotics and STEM community. The FIRST Championship is the culmination of team-based robotics challenges for students 4-18 years old.

Hailing from University High School in Carmel, Indiana, the RoboBlazers (FRC 7617) won a series of local and district competitions before taking their skills to the FIRST Robotics Competition presented by BAE Systems. 

We are extremely proud of our RoboBlazers, who came in at No. 15 of 77 national teams during this five-week challenge. This year’s theme was ENERGIZE, and the game, CHARGED UP, encouraged competitors to address challenges related to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy. — Pamela Cheng, Corporate Vice President/General Manager — Global Sales, MCC

The 2022-2023 competition just ended, and we’re already looking forward to the next one! We’ll sponsor the RoboBlazers, as they compete in the 2023-2024 FIRST season.
