MCC proudly participated in the Climate Sustainability Decision-Making Conference, hosted by AUO and The Taiwan Climate Partnership at the serene “Azabu Mountain Forest” in Beipu, Hsinchu. This annual gathering brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and academic experts to exchange ideas and strategies for achieving net-zero transformation and advancing sustainable business practices.
Held on May 23–24, the conference marked MCC’s debut at the event, and it was a powerful experience. Representing MCC, Douglas Lau and Kilin Kuo described it as “an exceptionally insightful experience,” highlighting the dynamic blend of strategic dialogue and actionable insights. Topics ranged from global ESG trends and carbon markets to corporate risk management and supply chain traceability, offering a comprehensive view of how businesses can lead in a rapidly evolving sustainability landscape.
The collaborative atmosphere and valuable networking opportunities have strengthened our sense of purpose,” Lau shared. “We’re returning with concrete strategies to help drive meaningful progress toward our collective net-zero ambitions.
As one of the “Top 500 Listed Manufacturing Companies in China,” MCC strives to always remember that the value of a company lies not only in profit creation but also in benefiting society. In 2024, MCC engaged in diverse social contributions, from charitable donations to public welfare projects, and from environmental actions to educational support, fulfilling the social responsibilities of a private enterprise.
