## 15A Fast-Recovery Rectifier with 500ns Reverse Recovery Time, 1.2V Forward Voltage, and 200A Surge Capability for Industrial and Power Applications
Micro Commercial Components (MCC) introduces the **FR15140-BP**, a high-performance **1400V 15A Fast Recovery Rectifier Diode** housed in a rugged TO-220AC package. Designed for high-voltage power conversion systems, the device combines fast reverse recovery performance with a low forward voltage to help reduce switching and conduction losses.
With a **500ns maximum reverse recovery time**, the FR15140-BP supports high-frequency switching while helping minimize reverse recovery losses and associated EMI. Its **1.2V typical forward voltage at 15A**, **200A non-repetitive peak surge current**, and glass-passivated chip junction provide reliable performance for demanding power electronics applications.
