Empowering the Exciting KIT24 Launch & 2024 Season
MCC is thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with KA-RaceIng as a premium sponsor to support their endeavors in pushing limits in motorsports. The team recently launched its new race car, the KIT24, at an exciting rollout event at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Audimax in Germany.
As proud new sponsors, we were delighted to join other enthusiastic supporters for this highly anticipated milestone. MCC Account Manager, DACH, Christian Steuler, enjoyed celebrating the KIT24 rollout with K-A RaceIng e.V. Teamlead, Electronics, Juian Bihl, and other K-A RaceIng team members.

Pushing Boundaries in Race Car Design
The KIT24 is the embodiment of significant advancements in racing technology with several speed-enhancing advantages compared to its predecessor, including:
- Reduced weight - the KIT24 is nearly 20 kilograms lighter than the previous model
- Expanded field of vision - after repositioning the lidar to the nose of the race car, the vehicle has an expanded view and better navigation
- Revamped aerodynamics - an innovative aerodynamic package capable of 1000N downforce at 60km/h improves the car’s handling and speed
In addition to sponsoring the team, we also supplied the KIT24 with high-quality semiconductors, including zener diodes, MOSFETs, and small signal diodes. Our components will be vital in optimizing the performance and reliability of the race car’s various electronic systems.
We’re looking forward to seeing our products in action as the KIT24 is put to the test this season in the Formula Student (FS), an international design competition with over 100 university teams competing with their self-built cars in worldwide events. MCC would like to thank KA-RaceIng for the opportunity to have our components shine in their racing endeavors.
The 2024 racing season kicks off at the Red Bull Ring in Austria in July, followed by races in Hungary and Germany. Stay tuned with us as we continue to support KA-RaceIng throughout the season.
