MURZ3065P-BP and MURZ6065P-BP 650V Superfast Recovery Rectifiers Featuring Soft Recovery, Low Forward Voltage, and Rugged TO-247AD Packaging

Micro Commercial Components (MCC) introduces the MURZ3065P-BP and MURZ6065P-BP, a family of 650V Superfast Recovery Rectifiers designed to improve efficiency, switching performance, and reliability in demanding high-frequency power conversion systems. As switching frequencies continue to increase across industrial, renewable energy, and automotive power electronics, engineers require rectifiers that minimize reverse recovery losses while maintaining excellent thermal performance and robust surge capability.

The MURZ Series addresses these challenges by combining 650V reverse voltage capability with 30A and 60A average forward current ratings in the rugged TO-247AD package. Featuring superfast reverse recovery times of 95ns and 105ns, low forward voltage (typ) of only 1.29V and 1.28V, soft recovery with low reverse recovery charge (Qrr), and Near Zero Temperature Coefficient (ZTC) characteristics, these rectifiers improve switching efficiency while reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI). High surge current capability of up to 400A and 220A, together with planar structure die technology further enhances system reliability, making the series ideal for power factor correction (PFC), UPS systems, industrial power supplies, EV charging equipment, welding systems, and inverter applications.
