MCC Sponsors 5125 HOTH Team in FIRST Robotics Competition

We’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the FIRST 5125 HOTH team — a group of young students driven by passion and innovation — in the 2024 FIRST Robotics Competition. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to fostering technical excellence for the engineers and builders of tomorrow.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an international youth organization that inspires and empowers students interested in engineering and technology through mentor-based programs that build STEM skills. 

HOTH, which stands for Hawks on the Horizon, is a Chicago-based team from Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park made up of students from various backgrounds. Team HOTH will join dozens of other competitors to participate in team-based robotics challenges for students 4-18 years old.

As a sponsor, MCC is providing financial support and helping these students shape a brighter future by encouraging them to explore, create, and challenge themselves and each other through teamwork.
